WHY IS LOW UGR SO IMPORTANT?

UGR stands for Unified Glare Rating and is the metric used to calculate glare.
Standards have been set for specific working environments.
For example, the required rating set for schools and offices is a UGR of less than 19. The Baffle Reflector System (60147) offers a UGR of <16 making it the perfect solution for all projects required to meet the standards.

This standard specifies the ideal UGR values for different environments such as offices and classrooms.

For meetings, reading, writing, PC based work and training, the recommended UGR is <19.

For technical drawing, it is <16.

Indirect Glare, is when light is bounced from reflective surfaces such as windows or monitors etc.
