The Opal Diffuser

The Opal Diffuser linear optic delivers smooth, uniform illumination with excellent colour consistency, making it ideal for architectural, commercial, and bespoke linear lighting applications. Designed to eliminate LED spotting, it produces a continuous, visually comfortable light output across its full length.

Developed using Carclo Optics’ Linear Ingress Protection Sealing (L-IPS) technology, this optic supports a range of IP ratings and is engineered for reliable performance in both indoor and outdoor environments. Its extrudable design allows for custom lengths, providing flexibility for linear systems of any scale.

A complete system approach is supported through compatible extrusion profiles, end caps, and silicone gaskets, enabling robust sealing and clean installation. Additional customisation options are available, including bespoke widths, diffusion levels, and surface finishes, allowing the optic to be tailored to specific optical and aesthetic requirements.

The 60217 employs a flat opal diffuse cover to produce consistent, softened output along its length. 

The Opal Diffuser linear optic delivers smooth, uniform illumination with excellent colour consistency, making it ideal for pure white, RGBW, tunable & Human Centric Lighting.
