Good design is founded on a total understanding of the latest computing software including Pro/Engineer CAD, ASAP & Zemax Optical Raytracers and Mouldflow Injection Mouldinware and macro's within proprietary software that help to analyse common optical problems.  One such example is the ability to show the full optical performance of a visor in advance of tooling manufacture.

All the designers at Carclo are multi-disciplined and have built up considerable expertise in all sectors of the business.  The design department is seen as complementing manufacture and only under special circumstances can it be considered a stand alone service.
